The Middle School banquet is scheduled on Monday, October 26^th at 7:00 pm. We would ask each family to bring a dessert to share. We will be providing lemonade and paper products. We look forward to celebrating our season with you.

8th Grade Tournament

Our 8^th grade played at the St. Joseph’s tournament this past Saturday. They were tied for 1^st with St. Joesph’s but lost in a point tie breaker, to take 2^nd place. We are very proud of them. They won two games against Shell Lake, St. Anthony, Chetek, and Rice Lake. They split one win, and one loss with St. Joesph. 8^th grade is coached by Kristina Berget.

Banquet Update

Due to the SASD scheduled Annual Board Meeting; we are moving the Middle School banquet to Monday, October 26^th at 7:00 pm. We would ask each family to bring a dessert to share. We will be providing lemonade. Please RSVP below with the number of people attending.

7th Grade at St. Joesph's Tournament

We were very proud of how our 7th grade team played at the St. Joesph's Tournament this past Saturday, October 3rd.

They won two games against Shell Lake, won and lost one to Rice Lake, won and lost one to St. Joseph, and lost two very close games to Chetek. They ended up taking third place. 7th grade is coached by Shannon Huffer. Way to go Rails!

Our 7th and 8th grade teams are off to a great start. We are excited about the progress they are making and the way they are playing as a team. They have had two match nights so far.

We would like to pass on the official statement from the school district concerning the accident yesterday, Saturday, August 22nd.

From the Spooner Area School District:
"Spooner high school student volleyball athletes were traveling along Highway 63 and became involved in an accident with another vehicle. After medical reviews, all athletes, coaches and the bus driver have been released. While the fatalities being reported did not involve those traveling on the bus, the Spooner Area School District wishes to offer support and caring thoughts to all those involved. Our hearts are with the families and communities that are most affected by this incident."

Parent and Player Mandatory Meeting

We have a mandatory parent and player volleyball meeting on Monday, August 10th at 6:30 pm at the high school. Forms, handbook, gear, and more information will be given. Thank you!

Summer Camp

Our Summer Volleyball Camp with Sue Bedient is next week. If you missed sign ups, don't worry, contact Coach Smith today at 218-590-6073. Camp is for girls 5th - 12th (next year's grade) Cost is only $25.

Weight Room Open

The weight room is open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. Come work on your speed, agility, power, teamwork and more. Together we can work hard and play hard!
